Legal MP3 Searching…

I’ve just found 2 cool ways of finding MP3s online without having to use anything dodgy like Limewire or any other infested software.

The first way is to use google to find open indexes that contain downloadable music files.  Simply type:

{-inurl:(htm|html|php) intitle:”index of” +”last modified” +”parent directory” +description +size +(wma|mp3) “Band Name”}

Into google, replacing Band Name with the name of the band you are looking for and it’ll fly off and find those MP3s for you.

The second way is to use cr3ation.  This site is an online search tool that allows you to find Mp3s quickly and easily.  It uses dogpile to collect the results, then waves a wee bit of magic dust and provides you with your results.   Sorted.
