MIT OpenCourseWare
While doing some research on Eigenvectors I stumbled across MIT’s OpenCourseWare site. It’s effectively an open-education resource made up of online lectures, notes, exams, etc. The list of courses available is vast, covering topics from Anthropological Theory to Computational Evolutionary Biology. Some of the courses also come with videos that you can download, or audio files of the lectures. At the moment I’m working my way through the Linear Algebra course (some kind person uploaded the videos onto Google Video so I can watch them on my iPod).
This really is an amazing resource. Hopefully the number of topics and available courses will grow as time goes by. Obviously you need to stick with it, but for people who like to broaden their knowledge this is a great place to go.
